Open Distance Learning Quality Council
The Interior Design Academy of Ireland has earned accreditation from the Open and Distance Learning Quality Council (ODLQC). Independently established in co-operation with the Secretary of State for Education for the public benefit in 1969, the ODLQC promotes lifelong learning and raises industry standards for distance education. It awards accreditation only when the activities of a particular college meet its stringent standards.
Conducted by independent experts, the accreditation process rigorously assesses whether a college's administration, tutorial support, educational materials and publicity meet ODLQC standards. The council continues to monitor accredited colleges to ensure that they fully serve the needs of their students. Re-accreditation assessments are conducted at intervals not exceeding three years.
Issued with the authority of the Open and Distance Learning Quality Council.
