Aside from using these tips in your assignment essays, I hope you can apply them to your profession one day when you are preparing your presentations for your clients. Hi all, Louise here, I'm a student at the Interior Design Academy of Ireland and wanted to tell you about a project I just finished working on. As well as studying at the school, I work for Adverts.ie; Ireland's largest marketplace for buying and selling online. We are the sister website of Daft.ie, Boards.ie and TheJournal.ie, and until recently had all been living under the same roof together - due to the team growing, the Adverts.ie gang moved out and into an exciting new space.

Upgrading your BER (ROI) or EPC (UK)

I am sure you have all come across the three letters BER or EPC more than once in the last few months and probably are familiar with what they stand for: the Building Energy Rating (in Ireland) or Energy Performance Certificate (in the UK). If you are currently looking to buy or rent a house you might have noticed that letters like D2, E1, B3 accompany each ad, be it in the paper or on the Internet. Since the 9th January of this year, the BER or EPC of any property being sold or rented must be shown when advertising it. So what is the BER/EPC and what do the letters stand for?
